St. Johns Wort [Nervous] is an important herb for the nervous system.

Wort comes from an Old English word meaning plant or root. This plant is named for St. John, the Baptist. It has long been popular for replenishing the nervous system, especially when the brain seems depleted or when the nervous system is out of balance.

St. Johns wort contains hypericin, a natural compound that has been shown to help support the nervous system by minimizing the effects of minor depression. NSP combines St. Johns wort with passion flower, an herb with a long history of nervous system support.

Each capsule contains 300 mg St. Johns wort standardized to 0.3% hypericin.

CAUTION: While taking this product, avoid exposure to strong sunshine and tanning rays or tanning salons. It is advisable to wear sunglasses when being exposed to strong sunlight conditions.
Consult your health care provider before using this product if you are taking prescription antidepressive drugs, including selective serotonin uptake inhibitors, as well as any MAO inhibitors.
