Common sense and the CoronaVirus

What we know so far is that this virus seems to concentrate its power on older adults and people who have other conditions.
Older adults are being hit particularly hard by the coronavirus, early data show. The majority of people who have died from the disease are over age 50, Bloomberg reports, citing information from China’s National Health Commission. And a study in the New England Journal of Medicine that analyzed the first 425 people with the virus found that the median age of patients was 59.
“Obviously, older people have less reserves, so they are more at risk for any type of infection causing complications,” says Amesh Adalja, an infectious disease physician and senior scholar at the Johns Hopkins University Center for Health Security. This includes other respiratory illnesses, such as the flu and pneumonia.

Here comes "Proteolytic Enzymes" to our rescue.
It is known that viruses have a protective outer coating that helps the propagation of the virus in two ways:
1. It protects the virus itself
2. It helps the virus to attach to a host cell and multiply.
The trick is to find a way to break that protective coating which then makes the virus recognizable by the immune system.

According to Dr. William Wong, ND, PhD:
“…proteolytic or systemic enzymes do a number on the all-important exterior protein coating of the virus. They eat it! Remember the virus is active as long as its coating is intact."
Not only do proteolytic enzymes rid a virus of its protective outer coating, but they also boost our immune system, helping it to further rid your body of viruses, for an effective two-pronged virus-busting attack.

Proteolytic enzymes (also known as systemic enzymes) are our first line of defense in:

Fighting Inflammation
Eating Fibrosis and scar tissue
Modulating Immune Function
Cleaning the Blood
Enzymes can also be the first line of defense against a virus!

What do we do next?
If you are part of the "older group of people" or have an elderly family member we offer some suggestions.
Antibiotics are useless against viruses. Antibiotics kill bacteria only not viruses. It is a well-known fact that the overuse and misuse of antibiotics can lead to resistance to antibiotics and antiviral drugs.

Phase One (if you are new to herbs)... Activate and strengthen the body first!
* Activate your body with a good source of multiple vitamins AND minerals (Take 1 tablet once a day with food)
* Add Food enzymes (taken with food) to promote proper digestion, assimilation and elimination. Excellent for older people!
For a typical American breakfast take 2 capsules - When eating animal protein, take 2 capsules with your meal.
* Take Proactazyme instead of Food Enzymes IF vegetarian

Why Enzymes?
As we grow older, our digestive system tends to get weaker.
Hydrochloric acid and enzyme production diminishes with age and is usually quite deficient by the time a person is 50, although it may start becoming deficient in many people much earlier than that.
This deficiency of digestive secretions is a major part of protein and mineral deficiencies in the elderly. It is also why Food Enzymes is practically a “must-have” product for senior citizens.

Phase two at the first sign of the following symptoms: fever, runny nose, coughing, sore throat, difficulty breathing, follow suggestions below.
* Take Protease High Potency (Proteolytic enzymes to break down the virus coating) - These proteolytic enzymes must be taken between meals (2 caps between breakfast and lunch)
* Add Immune Stimulator also taken between meals (2 caps between lunch and dinner)
By adding this immune boosting herbal combination you allow the immune system to go after the now unprotected virus… makes sense!

Homeopathic Support: Virustat

Caution: Stay home and call your medical doctor if symptoms persist after a few days on the regimen above.
