Stretch Marks
By Steven Horne, RH (AHG) & Kimberly Balas, ND
Stretch marks are lines of scarred tissue that form on the
surface of the skin
when the skin is stressed from rapid
growth. For instance, stretch marks are common from pregnancy or rapid weight gain.
In pregnancy, they are commonly found on the belly, hips and or thighs.
Vitamin E
and zinc can help prevent stretch marks.
Massaging coca
butter, coconut, olive or peanut oil into the skin also helps.
